AEROSMITH Frontman Apologizes For 'You Gotta Move' Sound Problems
December 17, 2004AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler has sent the following message to the group's official fan site, Aeroforceone.com, regarding the recent in-theater premiere of the group's DVD, "You Gotta Move":
"Thank you very much for being so honest with your critique on the DVD in theatre Regal Cinema 5.1 experience. For those of you who went and noticed it was out of sync and not in true 5.1 sound, just know that I snuck into a theatre that night along with you with a mustache and big floppy hat and I witnessed what some of you witnessed first hand. For those of you who heard it sounding good, congratulations, but for those of you who had problems with the sound as I did, I apologize and promise you all that I will never let anything out again without personally seeing to some of the details that were obviously not addressed that night. The other good news is the DVD is slamming! I personally saw to that but didn't personally oversee the sound and sync issues at the movie theaters. I promise you this will never happen again.
"Thanks for your support and enthusiasm! You really are the greatest fans in the world!"
As previously reported, Tyler's daughter Liv gave birth to Steven's first grandchild. Commented the singer: "His name is Milo William Langdon...he's 8 pounds and was born on December 14, 2004 ... the most perfect-est baby, just like his mother. This is the best Christmas present a daughter could ever give her father."
